A twin-engine Beechcraft BE58 aircraft crashed as it was headed to the Kerrville Municipal Airport on April 22, 2019. Witnesses described the plane as being tilted in the air, flying low above the trees, with the engines whining just before the crash.
The aircraft did not make it to the airport but instead crashed on a private ranch property six miles from the airport.
The pilot and five passengers onboard the aircraft have been pronounced dead. Passengers on the plane included the varsity girl’s lacrosse coach at St. John’s School in Houston, her husband, and the owner and employees of a local Houston landscape architecture firm in Houston.
